On Thursday June 2, 2011 Marvin Jacob Jorgensen passed away. Gramps was the last grandpa both Mike and I had living. He went peacefully, in his sleep. Grandma Jorgensen was by his side when it happened. It's been hard for Mike and myself. We both had a special bond with gramps. Gramps was Mike's best friend (till I came along, sorry gramps) and Mike loved going out to see him, tinker around with him, and talk with him. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to meet grandpa J...he is one neat guy was a little bit of fight to him. Grandpa will be laid to rest right above our special angel and we couldn't be more thrilled about that!!! We love thinking that gramps is talking to our boy, telling hims stories, teaching him things, and just loving him. Grandpa is the first relative to pass since we had our baby and it's fun to think that he is telling Carter all about us and who we are. We love you gramps, and we promise...We will never do anything you wouldn't do!!!!
