Visiting Santa

T wasn't so excited about sitting on the big guys lap, he was however much intrigued with him and wanted to keep talking and looking at him. Also just for the record, T decided to poop right as we were second in line. perfect timing as always T!!!

Thanksgiving:a lot to be thankful for

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and we are now closer to Christmas than Thanksgiving. Where has the time gone. I can't believe it actually. Thanksgiving was wonderful this year. We did our normal routine, dinner with the Jex family and dessert with the Jorgensen's.
It truly was a great day, perfect in every way. Trenton even was up way past his bedtime, and he was a champ!! We have so much to be thankful for, especially this year. We've been blessed beyond measure, multiple times, and we have our Heavenly Father to thank for that!!

Memorial Day

I realize Memorial day was VERY long ago.
I never got around to posting the pictures from that day, so today you get to see them!

We love going to see our baby and honor his grave with flowers.

I also love being able to have both of my boys together at once.

And seeing all three boys together just makes my heart melt!

And of course we can't visit Carter with out seeing Grandpa J, who is just right above Carter.

4th of July

After such a crazy week it was nice to be able to relax for the 4th.
Our day was pretty typical; breakfast on the boulevard, parade, Jorgensen family bbq.
Then we went to a movie, Iron Man 3.

Then headed down to the river to hang out, we knew we wouldn't be staying for the fireworks this year since Trenton has to be hooked up to a feeding pump by 10:00pm each night, and we weren't sure how he would react this year.

It was a really good day, and much needed relaxation. Trenton did really well and hung in there like a champ the entire day!

Mothers.

Mother's Day.  As this beautiful day comes to a close I can't help but put my gratitude into words.

Almost 2 1/2 years ago I became a momma to the sweetest most perfect little angel baby a momma could ask for! What a moment in time that was. I simply thank Heavenly Father each day for that sweet boy picking ME to be his mommy! What an honor, and a privilege to have an angel watching over our little family each and every day!!

Then I went a year without being a momma to a physical body, but more a momma to an angel.
That was a bittersweet mother's day to say the least.

And then a year ago I had the honor again to call myself a mommy! T has brought so much joy and love into my life! He has made me open my eyes to the important things in life, and has taught me so much in his little lifetime. I thank the heavens that I get to be his mom, and for all that means!

Being a mom is something special, and I cherish each day on this earth that I have with my babies.
I also look forward with eagerness to the day when our family will become an eternal family, and that I will have the privilege to raise my sweet Carter!

Both boys have brought such emotional highs(and lows) into my life, and I really am truly grateful for them both! I love them with all of my heart, and could not imagine my life with out them!!

I also am eternally grateful for my mom, and my mother-in-law.

I'm so proud to call my mom my best friend, and do not know where I would be with out her!
Also, with out her selflessness in babysitting T we would be in a world of hurt and eating crumbs off the floor. I appreciate her willingness to sacrifice her time to help me and my family out, and for her love and willingness to give!

I am also thankful for my mil, for raising a son to be the man he is today. For sacrificing a lot in her life to provide for her kid's wants and needs. She is also a wonderful grandmother to not only my babies but to the other 4, almost 5 kiddos in our clan.

Thank you both for being the women you are today, for providing such a strong and steadfast example to me, and to my children!

I love you both!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Easter Weekend

My moms birthday was the Saturday before Easter,
so our weekend activities were plentiful and full of family fun!

We started out our Saturday by getting Trenton's hair cut, following we went to lunch for my moms birthday and then she requested that all of us kids come decorate Easter eggs.

Trenton had fun, dyeing eggs-as much fun as a 11 month old can have.

He did however enjoy people watching, as usual.

Trenton's egg.

All of the eggs.

On Sunday we woke up, and the Easter bunny  had brought us presents.
As usual we all received new church outfits to wear that day.

Trenton also received some chalk, bubbles, a toy 4-wheeler, a puzzle, a book, and some new ties from Aunt Melissa(which really are for his birthday). And no, he won't be able to play with almost anything in his basket, but the Easter bunny really thought our family would enjoy them. ;)

Trying our best to get a family picture in our Easter wear....
Trenton was NOT participating in this effort.

Then after church we went over to the Jex house for a feast! Turkey dinner, yuuummmy!

Trenton received a lot of bubbles for Easter, so after dinner we went out and blew them.
Needless to say, he LOVED them! He kept trying to catch them in his out to eat them.

He would catch them and then laugh and laugh.

We had a great Easter weekend. Even with all of our festivities, it was nice to reflect back on what Easter means, and why we really celebrate it! Our family is very grateful for Easter and the meaning that families CAN be together FOREVER!
