Day 7 & 8 & 9, The End.

Saturday the 10th we woke up early and headed out for St. Louis. We drove the 2 hour windy car ride and arrived at the zoo mid-morning. The St. Louis zoo is AMAZING!!!! it is extremely large with lots of different animals and the best thing....it's 100% FREE!!!! OK you do have to pay for parking and 'extras' in the zoo, but to just walk in it's $0.00!! We did the zoo thing for quite a while, and probably would have done more if we weren't starving, there are a few in the group of 5 we had that when the blood sugar drops get a tad testy...and I get snappy and quite, so we had to get food! I also would have done more if I had a wheel chair! haha my little elephant feet and hands where so puffy that walking was hurting so bad!!!

We had a lot of fun though and I can say for Mike and I that we really enjoyed ourselves! and Noah seemed to be having a grand old time, but he had a stroller! haha just kidding.

After the zoo we headed for Union Station for some lunch and then over to the Arch for some enjoyment. We had planed on going up in the arch, but when we got there the line was really long and the wait was over 2 hours. So as sad as Mike was we decided to opt out of that adventure. We did tour the museum a little and took a minute or two to look up at this amazing piece of work! It really is way neat to look at, and extremely tall!

After the Arch we went for some frozen custard at Ted Drew's....YUMMMY! it was delish! then it was time for us to hit the road for our two hour journey home!

Sunday the 11th we woke up bright and early again and loaded up the truck for Mike and my 21 hour journey to start. We drove and drove and drove till we got to North Platte, NE where we ate, relaxed, and hit the hay. This is the wild turtle that Mike found for me off the side of a back road, I asked to keep him but was told "no".

Monday the 12th we again woke up early and hit the road, this time with the thought in our minds that today we would be home, Idaho Falls home, and get to sleep in our bed! ahah the thought of that got us through.....we arrived home about 7:00pm or so and un-loaded.

Mike had not shaved the whole week, thankfully at least he did trim a little every few days, but this is what I had to kiss by the end of the trip...let's just say that I don't think he will grow it out ever again. haha

We had a blast on our vacation and really are thankful to everyone who did anything or gave us anything on or for this trip! with out a few amazing people this would not have been possible. so, to you who know who you are...THANK YOU!!!!!!!! and WE LOVE YOU!!!!

We have come to the End of our vacation, thanks for reading along!

I really want to go to the St. Louis zoo because I have heard so many good things about it! I am glad you had so much fun :) And I feel your pain. Rob hates shaving so I am lucky if he does it once a week. I will say that I am a lot more willing to kiss him on those days....
