Personal Goals for 2012

I didn't set resolutions for 2011, and I am not going to set them for 2012. They put to much pressure on ones self, and when they get forgotten and not accomplished some of us fill like failures. HOWEVER I have set some personal 'goals' for myself, as I do every year all year long.
This year I've chosen to work on these few select areas, because I need help in them.

1- Live in the moment. Be 'here'.  I sometimes fail to being in the actual moment, and then find myself wishing I had done more, participated more, been involved more. Not this year, I'm going to work on putting all electronics to the side, and focus on what the current moment in handing me!
2- Stop stressing about things out of my control. I really have issues with doing this one. I am more of an anxiety filled person(wasn't always though, that's what growing up did to me!) and I tend to freak out about lots of things that I simply have not a single thing to control, or even sometimes pertain to me. It's going to be a hard one, but I simply must do it for my own personal health and sanity!

The thing that I hope to be different about this coming year, I've placed these written goals on my bathroom mirror, in my car, and at my work place. To help me see them every day, multiple times a day. I hope it works. Here is to a new fresh start!!!!
