Easter Weekend

My moms birthday was the Saturday before Easter,
so our weekend activities were plentiful and full of family fun!

We started out our Saturday by getting Trenton's hair cut, following we went to lunch for my moms birthday and then she requested that all of us kids come decorate Easter eggs.

Trenton had fun, dyeing eggs-as much fun as a 11 month old can have.

He did however enjoy people watching, as usual.

Trenton's egg.

All of the eggs.

On Sunday we woke up, and the Easter bunny  had brought us presents.
As usual we all received new church outfits to wear that day.

Trenton also received some chalk, bubbles, a toy 4-wheeler, a puzzle, a book, and some new ties from Aunt Melissa(which really are for his birthday). And no, he won't be able to play with almost anything in his basket, but the Easter bunny really thought our family would enjoy them. ;)

Trying our best to get a family picture in our Easter wear....
Trenton was NOT participating in this effort.

Then after church we went over to the Jex house for a feast! Turkey dinner, yuuummmy!

Trenton received a lot of bubbles for Easter, so after dinner we went out and blew them.
Needless to say, he LOVED them! He kept trying to catch them in his out to eat them.

He would catch them and then laugh and laugh.

We had a great Easter weekend. Even with all of our festivities, it was nice to reflect back on what Easter means, and why we really celebrate it! Our family is very grateful for Easter and the meaning that families CAN be together FOREVER!

The latest and greatest:

I went to the doctors on Friday for my weekly check up. Things went well, babies heart rate was strong and high. I am measuring right on, if not just a little larger. I decided that this could be a true Jorgensen baby, when the Dr. mentioned the number 8lbs while we were talking about him possibly being a "bigger baby". Yikes! hah I'm thinking that, that wouldn't be all that nice. When you go from a 2lbs-er baby, then jump to 8lbs...they should slowly increase, not jump 6lbs! I am dilated to a full 2cm now. Doc says that we probably have another 1-2 weeks. I'm not holding my breath though, I'm going to plan on having to be induced. So that if I do go early I can be happily surprised!

I had another NST yesterday and things went great! Best one yet as far as baby goes!
They said that baby was exceptional during his test!!! I am still contracting, all day and night in fact.
During our test I was contracting about every 3-7 minutes or so, but they are not concerned due to how far along I am. Oldroyd said that he won't stop anything from here on out if I decide to go on my own.

In other news, things with the house are coming along nicely. We aren't moved in yet, but we do have quite a bit of our things moved in. I need to get some pictures of the process. Thanks to Mike, our families and some a-maz-ing friends we now have our master bedroom painted, the kitchen ceiling painted, the kitchen put together, the shelves in the garage stabilized, the half (useless) entryway wall removed, and the babies room 90% set up and ready! We are taking it slowly, no hurry right now. We figure we will get there when we do, although hopefully sooner rather than later. haha we will see.

My uncle Kent had a heart attack yesterday, he is in a 24 hour medicated comma right now. We will continue to keep him in our thoughts and prays, and we ask that you do the same. We will know more either tomorrow or Tuesday. All our love goes out to him and his family at this time!

Also yesterday, our niece Jayni was baptized!!! I was not able to attend due to it being in Boise, but Mike was able to have the day off to go and be apart of her special day! We hope she knows just how special she is and how much we love her!! Congrats Jayni!!!

And finally, Happy Easter today! It's been a great day! I have really been able to ponder on what this day is truly about, I think this is the first time in my life to actually be able to grasp thee entire concept of what happened some 2000 years ago. It's been wonderful, and I hope you have been able to ponder on the meaning as well! Happy Easter!!!!!!

Megan's Great Moving Adventure-part 2

Wednesday morning we got up, cleaned the house, packed up the car, went to Clare's check up appointment, went to Melissa's appointment and then hit the road. We stopped at a gas station to fill up a little ways out, to eat lunch and fill up....Meliss was feeding Clare and afterwards we went to get going again when all of a sudden the car wouldn't start. Like totally 100% dead! So a nice guy at the station came over and helped us jump start it. We got it started and then we headed to the town where Andy and Melissa bought the car to have it checked out, turns out we had just drained the battery while at the gas station. So after we got that taken care of we hit the road again. We traveled about 4 hours on Wednesday and stopped at a family friends of the Stockhoff's for the night. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we traveled till our tooshies were sore. Saturday late afternoon we pulled into Idaho Falls. The little ones did great, as long as we stopped every few hours to feed the baby and let Noah run around. My part of the move was done on Saturday.

Sunday was Easter, and we had a good day. Church was ROUGH for me. That might even be an understatement. After church on Sunday My family and Andy, Melissa, and Whitney went out to Carters grave site. It was beautiful to be there. I felt such peace while standing looking at the beautiful headstone that we had made last fall. It was such a great reminder of the atonement and truly what Easter means and is all about. To us, Easter means so much more then candy and eggs and beautiful dresses and ties.

To us Easter means,
:knowing what the Savior did for us long ago on the cross
:it's understanding the atonement fully
:it's being thankful for the knowledge of eternal families
:it's coming closer to the Savior
:it's knowing that we will see our son one day, and that we will raise him.

We are grateful for all we have and love all our family members!!
Thanks for all you guys do for us!!
