Sick baby T

We thought we had managed to sneak past the sickness this winter with T. Not so. Last Monday when I went to give T his 5am medication I noticed that he was burning up. Since he has been teething I wasn't to shocked, and just gave him some Tylenol and went back to bed. He slept in that morning, but when he did wake up I noticed that the fever was still raging.

Even with constant medication his fever stayed at 103+ for several days. Then the throw up started.

The fever and throw up continued for 3 days or so, with no remorse.

We went to the doctor to have him checked for Influenza, which thankfully came back negative.

After 4 days of this, the fever finally started to break. And then this came....

Back to the doctor we went, the results of the rash...Roseola.
Roseola is a rash that can presents itself after a high fever. It tends to be slightly painful, and spreads everywhere. It's a nightmare.

Finally we are 6 days with this sickness, the rash is gone as is the vomit and fever.
Our T is pretty much back to his happy self, to which I am most grateful.
Sick babies aren't fun, for anyone.
