Jex Family Vacation: Day 1

About a month before our trip my parents called us to see if we would be able to get time off of work to go on a family vacation to Disney Land.

We were thrilled with this news and got right on asking for time off.

We packed our bags and set for the airport on July 19th. Our flight out of the IF airport was scheduled to leave at 6:30pm, in reality we didn't depart until close to 9:00pm! It was a joke. They told us it was to hot to fly?? Say what?! Silly airport people!

   

Because we arrived in Cali so late, and because there was an hour wait at the car rental place, we were all exhausted. Especially T! The next day(Saturday) we slept in a little and then got ready to head for the beach....Trenton literally slept the entire night before and the the entire day on Saturday! 

We had just gotten a refill on his medication, and the pharmacy had mixed one of his medications wrong (accidentally, and without our knowledge). So he slept and slept and slept! And then slept the entire Saturday night too! Bad news!

It was kind of an overcast day, but we just enjoyed being on vacation....even with FREEZING cold water!!!

After the beach we went back to the hotel to shower and get ready. Then on to dinner at Denny's, which later became a family joke and all Jordan would request to eat at.

After dinner we headed to walk around Downtown Disney! Magical!!

The Lego store was incredible!!

As was the chocolate factory!

And finding all of the places they put a Mickey was a lot if fun to look for.

After a few hours we headed back to the hotel and sacked out for the night.
