4th of July!

4th of July is a big deal around here. Idaho does it BIG and we savor each and every tradition of the day. Since getting married we have had to both give up and combine traditions, but I believe we have a great "schedule" for our fourths.

The day started out early with the Breakfast on the Boulevard. We always enjoy our pancakes, ham and eggs! This year the mickey mouse pancakes were DIVINE!

After breakfast was the parade.
Although the parade is turning into a lot of advertisement we still enjoy it!

Trenton found his ears earlier this week, during the parade he kept grabbing them to sleep.
To loud for baby.
happy to be free in America!

I love this picture, I think it looks so cool!
After the parade we went back to The Jorgensens for the annual BBQ.
No pictures from this, but we ate our afternoon away while enjoying lots of family fun!

After that we went to The Jex's for some 4-wheel riding! Again no pictures, but we really did have a lot of fun and really enjoyed ourselves.

following that we went to our adopted Grandma and Grandpa's the Searles. Gma and Gpa S our actually our great friend Amy's real grandparents. They invite us each year out for an evening BBQ, and we graciously except each year! We always have a good time!

After the evening BBQ we headed for the firework show. Idaho Falls has the best fireworks in the north west, and they did not disappoint by any means! However, on the walk down to the river Mike came down with the flu and boy oh boy was he miserable!  Poor Guy. He was a champ though and stuck it out to let T and I enjoy ourselves. Trenton was great for the show! He half slept, half watched the entire 30 min show. I think he really had a great first 4th of July!!!!

waiting, waiting, & waiting.
Hi Mom!
a little grin for the camera.
bff Brynnlee.
Over all, we really had a great 4th of July! We are so grateful for all the men and women who serve our country and keep us free! Thank you!!!
